At Borton Fisker
http://www.examiner.com/x-4026-Minneapol...den-Valley Quote:A Fisker employee, who was not authorized to give interviews, did confirm that the car is very responsive and hinted that it may be stiffer in production form, which is promising. There are plans to create 100 test vehicles for those like me, who’re dying to get behind the wheel, or who really want a test drive before purchase. |

Article and many photos from the Karma's appearance at Borton Fisker / Borton Volvo:

I could sit here and list all of its specifications, but I won’t. Mainly because that is not what this post is about. Many of you have not had the opportunity (yet) to see the Fisker Karma in person. When you do, you will remember it. The lines and curves on this car are just gorgeous. ![]() ![]() More photos on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/joelfeder/s...124624219/ |

RE: Karma on North American tour
The Karma was here in Utah today. I went up to see it (and wound up on the local news too, heh).
My overall impression is pretty good. The two downsides for me (besides the price) are the view out the rear-view mirror and the back, which is basically like any sports car (i.e., terrible), and that there is not as much trunk space as I would like. The side mirrors help a lot with the rear view. I think a back-up camera would be a good idea though. The seats are comfortable enough to sit in; hard to tell how it will be to drive. Getting in and out of the back is tough (but hey, I don't intend to sit there...). The central ridge runs all the way through the back seat, hence the fact that the car seats four, not five; the ridge actually extends into the trunk a bit, so after you have loaded your "two sets of golf clubs" there's a bit more room to either side of that column. One bit of news-to-me, I wrote down the tire sizes (different front and rear). Note that the tires have changed at least once already and the final version may be different yet. These, however, were Goodyear, the fronts 255/35R22 99W and the rears 285/35R22 102W. |

Thanks for sharing your impressions.
Here's the Karma at Fisker of Vancouver: http://www.vancouversun.com/technology/L...l?tab=PHOT Quote:VANCOUVER — The sunshine beaming down on the Fisker Karma Thursday did more than accent the high-end hybrid’s sleek, coupe-like body: It charged the car through its continuously formed solar-panel roof.
